New Year, Eagle and Naadam Horse Festival celebrated 

Experience the diverse wilderness, mountains and desert regions of Mongolia.  Visit excellent museums, Buddhist monasteries, meet nomads, and stay in ger (tent) camps. These are specially designed traditional circular tents similar to those of the nomadic herders but with modern facilities.  In July, participate in the Naadam Festival where thousands gather to enjoy archery competitions, wrestling matches, horse racing and people watching!  Visit an active temple where you can observe the monks chanting.
