Discover Malaysian Borneo.  The many splendid gorges, magnificent rivers, towering hills and pristine rainforests of the national parks in Borneo provide an unequaled setting for wildlife viewing and adventure.

In stunning Sabah visit the world’s largest orangutan sanctuary to see how orphaned baby orangutans are taught to survive in the wild.  Observe proboscis monkeys, Bornean pygmy elephants and orangutans in the wild with abundant bird life while adventuring on several boat rides through jungle waterways both day and night.  Enjoy bird watching, hiking, swimming in placid rivers and be lulled to sleep by the humming of cicadas and the soothing noises of the deep jungle.  In Sarawak, explore one of the world’s largest cave passages, sitting amidst the 180-million-year-old rainforest and visit Kuching, a charming water town with its colorful houses, boat regattas and museums.

Hari Raya Festival (Brunei):  In the Spring - Shake hands with the Sultan of Brunei or the Queen when they open their opulent palace only once a year to the local people and westerners to celebrate the completion of Ramadan.  View the interior of the world’s biggest and most lavish palace up close!  Share a delicious meal served inside the palace and experience the festive open house as guests of the royal family.  Photographs are allowed inside the palace but not while meeting the royal family.
