The best part of our trip was being welcomed with rice wine in quaint remote villages, dancing with the village folk and having delicious home-cooked meals - while buying gorgeous silver jewelry and hand embroidered textiles!
We drove past stunning scenery, flowing rivers and limestone mountains to an idyllic water town, all the time visiting with Miao and Dong tribes in their natural surroundings.
This trip was phenomenal..........
Embroidered costumes, elaborate silver headdresses worn during festivals, indigo dying, wind rain bridges and drum towers that have baffled archaeologists!
